Palco Lubricants Celebrates 41 Years of Quality, Trust & Manufacturing Excellence

Forty-one years ago, on September 23, 1985, Palco (Paras Lubricants Limited) was incorporated. The Indian automotive and industrial landscape was an entirely different world back then, but the core of what it takes to build a lasting manufacturing brand has not changed.

When I look at our daily operations, managing our sales force from the Mumbai office while overseeing the continuous output of our manufacturing units in Daman. I am reminded that building a legacy in the lubricant industry is about unglamorous, relentless consistency.

Every batch of oil, every grade of grease, and every industrial solution that leaves Daman carries a 41-year-old promise. You cannot survive four decades in manufacturing without a fundamental obsession with quality.

But a company is never just its machinery or facilities.

When I reflect on Palco’s journey, I do not just see the expansion of our production capabilities. I see the people who made it happen.

I see our factory workforce in Daman, whose hands-on dedication ensures our standards never slip. I see our pan-India sales team and our headquarters in Delhi, navigating incredibly competitive markets daily to keep our growth engine running. I see the mechanics in local garages, the fleet operators, and the heavy industry partners who have trusted the Palco name for over a generation.

We are incredibly proud of our history, but we are not resting on it. Over the last few years, we have pushed aggressively into new frontiers, from expanding our export footprint to launching dedicated consumer-facing digital ecosystems. We are blending the reliability of a legacy Indian manufacturer with the agility of a modern, digitally driven brand.
