Legacy & Heritage
A Journey of Trust and Transformation
What started as a small venture is today a nationally recognized name in lubricants, trusted by industries across sectors.

A Legacy of Excellence:
From a Vision to Global Leadership
In 1985, when India’s lubricants industry was still developing, Mr. Paras Bansal envisioned a future where high-quality, performance-driven lubricants would set new industry benchmarks. Determined to bridge the gap between demand and quality, he founded Paras Lubricants Limited, introducing the PALCO brand. What started as a small-scale venture soon gained recognition for its commitment to innovation, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Building a Strong Foundation (1985 – 2000s)
In its early years, PALCO focused on establishing itself in India, ensuring strict quality control and maintaining high-performance standards in its products. The company’s efforts paid off, and by 1995, it transitioned from a Private Limited Company to a Public Limited Company, signifying its growing market presence and ambitions for expansion.
PALCO’s two advanced manufacturing plants in Daman (U.T.) became the backbone of its operations, allowing the company to produce a wide range of automotive, industrial, and specialty lubricants. With an expanding distribution network, PALCO built strong relationships with fleet owners, OEMs, government institutions, and major industrial players.
Expanding Beyond Borders (2010s – Present)
With a firm foothold in India, PALCO turned its attention to global markets, recognizing the increasing demand for high-quality lubricants in emerging economies. A strategic decision was made to expand manufacturing capabilities internationally, leading to two major milestones:
• Ghana (2017) –
West Africa’s Lubricant Hub:
PALCO established a manufacturing plant in Tema, Ghana, under the company name Greenwich Industries Ltd. This facility enabled PALCO to cater to the growing lubricant demand in West Africa, supporting industries, transportation, and infrastructure projects in the region. A dedicated team in Accra efficiently manages production and distribution, ensuring premium-quality lubricants for local and regional markets.
• Ethiopia (2020) –
Strengthening East Africa’s Lubricant Supply:
As part of its continued global expansion, PALCO set up a manufacturing unit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, operating as PALCO Petrochem Manufacturing PLC. With a large and skilled workforce, this facility ensures a steady supply of high-performance lubricants tailored to Ethiopia’s growing industrial, agricultural, and automotive sectors. The plant plays a key role in meeting the increasing demand for high-quality lubrication solutions across East Africa.

A Truly Global Presence – 25+ Countries and Counting
PALCO’s commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability has fueled its rapid global expansion. Today, the company exports to 25+ countries, including markets across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Its products meet international industry standards, ensuring reliability and efficiency for diverse applications—from commercial fleets to industrial machinery and specialized lubricants.
With a global perspective, PALCO continues to invest in advanced R&D, cutting-edge manufacturing, and sustainable solutions to keep pace with technological advancements in lubrication technology.
A Legacy Built on Trust, Performance, and Innovation
From a humble beginning in 1985 to becoming a trusted name in global lubrication, PALCO’s journey is a testament to vision, perseverance, and customer-first values. Today, the company stands as a leader in the lubricants industry, offering world-class products, seamless distribution, and unmatched service—continuing its legacy of excellence for generations to come.
