The company is engaged in manufacturing & marketing of Automotive, Industrial & Specialty lubricants in India. It manufactures a range of Automotive, Industrial & Specialty lubricants and process oils under the brand name of “PALCO” located at plant in Daman.
Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager – Export is responsible for driving international sales growth, identifying new market opportunities, developing relationships with global clients, and ensuring compliance with export regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong sales acumen, negotiation skills, and experience in international trade.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute export sales strategies to expand market reach and increase revenue.
• Identify, research, and establish new business opportunities in international markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients, distributors, and trade partners.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Manage the entire export sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and order fulfilment.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, documentation, and logistics requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (production, supply chain, finance) to ensure smooth execution of export operations.
• Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company’s products/services.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in export sales, preferably in the lubricant industry.
• Strong knowledge of international trade laws, export documentation, and logistics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Proven track record of achieving export sales targets and expanding into new markets.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Fluency in English; additional languages will be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in dealing with international distributors and government regulations.
• Knowledge of automotive, industrial, and marine lubricants.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities.
