To reinforce this commitment, we successfully organized National Safety Week 2025 from 4th March to 10th March 2025, focusing on workplace safety, fire safety, and employee well-being.

Throughout the week, we conducted various awareness sessions, hands-on workshops, and engaging competitions to instill a strong culture of safety among our employees. Here’s a glimpse of our activities:
4th March 2025 – Inaugural Ceremony & Safety Pledge
- The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony, where all employees took a Safety Pledge to uphold and practice workplace safety.
- Mr. Shivam Mishra shared valuable insights on the importance of safety in industries and announced the formation of the Safety Committee, First Aid Team, and Emergency Response Team for PALCO DAMAN UNIT 2.
5th March 2025 – Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment Workshop
- A special workshop on hazard identification and risk assessment was conducted for the Emergency Response Team, equipping them with the skills to identify risks and take preventive measures.
6th March 2025 – Fire Safety Mock Drill & Evacuation Procedure
- Employees participated in a fire safety mock drill, learning evacuation procedures, fire prevention techniques, and emergency response actions in case of a fire incident.
- To make safety awareness more engaging, we also announced the Safety Slogan Contest, Safety Poster Competition, and Safety Quiz Competition.
7th March 2025 – Road Safety Awareness Session
- Road safety is a crucial aspect of overall workplace safety. Shivam Mishra conducted an awareness session covering safe driving habits, traffic rules, and accident prevention measures for all employees.
8th March 2025 – Occupational Health & Wellness Session
- A special session on employee health and well-being emphasized stress management, ergonomic workplace practices, and overall fitness to ensure a healthy work environment.
10th March 2025 – Grand Finale & Closing Ceremony
- The week concluded with a closing ceremony, where the winners of various safety competitions were recognized and awarded.
- The event ended on a high note, reinforcing our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure workplace.
