The Research & Development centre at Khopoli, Dist. Raigad in Maharashtra is equipped with state of art facilities & modern equipments required for developing lubricants as per the latest technology & also as per customer requirements. The testing of lubricants is carried out as per ASTM, IP, BIS Standards. The R & D centre is managed by a team of professional scientists & headed by Dr. V.K. Chhatwal, Executive Vice President who has over 30 years of experience in developing high performance Automotive, Industrial & Synthetic lubricants in the R & D center of a reputed Public Sector petroleum Company.
The R&D centre has recently developed the following class of lubricants:
 TRIDENT- 20W40, PANTHER-10W30: 4 Stoke air cooled engine oil for new generation of motorcycles meeting the requirements of JASO: MA-2 & API SL.
MEGA LIFE: Lithium soap grease capable of imparting the service life of more than 45,000 kms.
HITECH-15W40: high performance heavy duty diesel engine oil meeting API : CI-4/SL requirements & VDS II, VDS III norms.
Synthetic / semi- synthetic heat transfer fluids, refrigeration oils.
UNITRACK- 20W: a universal tractor transmission / hydraulic oil for wet brake system.
The scientists at R&D centre have the required expertise & experience for developing new product formulations & also to develop lubricants / specialties products as per customer’s requirements.
