TEFLON FORTIFIED LITHIUM SOAP GREASE
These are blends of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluorocarbon particles in specially prepared lithium-based, water-repellent grease. These greases are also fortified with rust, corrosion and oxidation inhibitors and additives that provide good film strength, better adhesion at high speed, under medium-to-high loads. The plating of PTFE applied to the mating surfaces under working conditions enhances the component’s life and increases re-lubrication intervals.
These greases have an application in a continuous operating temperature up to 140°C and in majority of situations specifying lubrication, especially in high pressure, water and salt-water conditions including wire ropes. Use of this grease on a continuous basis, will prevent seizing and pitting on the friction surfaces.
Recommended for all general purpose application in automotive and Industrial segments viz. machinery, tools, overhead garage door, channels, fan, motors, slides, gears etc. These greases have good corrosion prevention characteristics and as such finds application in marine segment also viz. cables, couplings, gears, hitches, winches etc.
These greases are compatible only with lithium base grease. Sealed bearings should be thoroughly cleaned before using grease described in this product bulletin.
PRECAUTION
Health: This product is not expected to produce adverse effects on health when used for the intended application. However prolonged or repeated skin contact with this grease is injurious to health. Clean properly with soap and water.
Environment: Lubricant should not be disposed in drain, soil and water. To be disposed through licensed/authorized collector of lubricants only.
